Pennsylvania Durable Power of Attorney (Financial)

Last Updated: 6/23/2015

Document Description

Are you taking the time to think about your future? Have you thought about where you are going or where you will be in the next 10, 30 or 60 years? It may seem far away now, but thinking about your future is essential. You spent a lifetime creating a living for yourself and others, so why not protect all of your hard work? A financial power of attorney document is a crucial document, especially if you have financial investments like property, stocks, etc. It is important to create this document so you can protect all that you have worked for.

The Pennsylvania Financial Power of Attorney allows you to give powers and responsibilities to a single person or even a company. This person or company, also known as an agent, will have the power to make decisions regarding your financials. The form lists all of the responsibilities from which you can choose, and you may even add your own if you would like. You will also have the option for the agent to take power immediately, or when it is determined that you can no longer manage your financials yourself. If you created a financial power of attorney in the past, this will revoke the terms in that previous document.

After the agent, principal, witnesses and notary have signed the document, you can upload it right back on to the website for safe keeping in you ezEstatePlanner Vault. Once this is done, you may assign it to only those that are specifically chosen by you to view it in your vault.
